Evaluation of REACT-EU in the framework of the ERDF NRW operational programme

Spatial Foresight was commissioned by the Managing Authority of the ERDF programme North Rhine-Westphalia to carry out an impact analysis of the REACT-EU funds (Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe) in their programme. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the EU has provided additional funding for the Structural Funds programmes of the 2014-2020 funding period with REACT-EU to support crisis management due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its social consequences and to prepare for the green, digital and stable recovery of the economy. The evaluation of REACT-EU under the OP ERDF NRW 2014-2020 aims to analyse the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the use of these funds as well as relevant cross-cutting objectives, if applicable.
