Implementation of the Just Transition Mechanism and synergies with other EU funds

As part of our framework contract for the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), Spatial Foresight has been assigned a new study on the functioning of the Just Transition Mechanism (JTM). The study will look into the implementation of the JTM until the end of 2024 and look into the processes of JTM implementation to assess the partnership and involvement of Local and Regional Authorities in these processes. To support future-oriented decision-making for the remaining programming period 2021-2027 and the post-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework, scenarios will be developed on the possible use of the JTM methodology for future EU policies. The study will be conducted together with our framework contract partners ÖIR (Austria) and t33 (Italy).
